By downloadind a plugin ("downloader") from github for, say, e621, then yall could pull as many "species:dragon" (or other tags) as yall would like. We had a huge collection, and we frequently used it for reference. Also yall may check good places to find art references that are not full of AI trash That list is full of useful resources, and booru/imageboards (like e621, gelbooru, safebooru, etc) are listed there. Also for browsing sites like pinterest or tumblr, yall may use frontends (alt UIs that aren't shit, or require sign ups) then take a look at this ___ #art, #AI, #noAI, #artReference, #booru, #imageBoard, #e621, #tumblr, #pinterest, #frontend @reilyhs_microblog_mirror@piefed.blahaj.zone

I think I know what tripped the #ai up. I was looking for the art on the cover of an old Scars album as it reminded me of something someone posted. album cover the scars so robot gets album cover and gets we cover scars but trying to think thru cover scars with album and it had a nervous breakdown not knowing the scars is a band which face it no one does. ai apparently does not watch game shows for 'before and after'. lets keep it that way. #noai

Are there any Linux distribution projects that are fighting the use of AI? I know that the kernel is now allowing the use of AI for contributions (I think?) so that's unavoidable, but are there any projects that are outright banning AI contributions? I want to get a conversation going on this. #noai

Just about every consumer facing operating system, search engine and service is using AI now to some extent. I’ve seen folks switching to #openbsd from Linux/Mac/Windows…but what about other services? Proton has AI, and damn near every internet search engine has AI, even the ones that claim to be private and secure. I’d be interested in hearing some realistic tech stacks and workflows that don’t involve tools with AI in them or created with the help of AI. @cienmilojos@infosec.exchange I don't know of any OS that has an iron-clad #NoAI policy. #NetBSD comes the closest, but they even have a provision for AI being included "with permission," IIRC. #OpenBSD already has slop in base, via tmux. :/

#WritersCoffeeClub 5/6. Talk about something you've written which you expected would (_or expect will_) divide readers. Better than that, I'll give you something that absolutely does divide readers. "Wind in the East", the fourth book of the Maliha Anderson series, has a scene where she has herself strung up naked and insists her boyfriend whip her. Writing the scene wiped me out emotionally for two weeks, but it wasn't some random perversion. She had a very specific reason (well, two reasons) even if they don't necessarily bear detailed examination.
