Anyone ever included a prologue to a novel? I'm doing it for the first time. I never thought I'd consider it, but there's a piece of critical information about a character that needs a setup, and there's no place in the book that feels right. The old saying, "Past is prologue." totally resonates. I guess I'll see when it's published. The U.S. Authors Guild has expanded its "Human Authored" certificate program, which launched in beta last year for its members, and is now available to any author whose books are published in the United States.
