Agi: Mattarella e Meloni a Gemona alla mostra "Friuli 1976. Una gran voglia di vivere" AGI - Centinaia di foto di famiglia, ricordi, strumentazioni, pagine di giornale. Un racconto di umanità e quotidianità quello che il presidente della Repubblica Sergio Mattarella ha visitato nella mostra allestita a Gemona del Friuli (Udine) dal Messaggero Veneto in occasione dei 50 anni dal terremoto del Friuli del 1976. Assieme al Capo dello Stato anche la premier Giorgia Meloni, accompagnati nella visita dal direttore e dal vicedirettore del quotidiano, rispettivamente Paolo Possamai e Paolo Monsanghini, e da Arnaldo Anichi, sindaco del Consiglio Comunale due ragazzi. Capo dello Stato e premier si sono soffermati a lungo davanti alle teche che mostravano le foto di lutto e di rinascita che hanno accompagnato e seguito le terribili scosse del 1976, le ricetrasmittenti dell'epoca con cui si è tentato di dialogare nei momenti immediatamente successivi alla scossa quando i telefoni non funzionavano e la colonna che contiene i nomi dei circa mille morti provocati dal sisma. Centinaia di ricordi raccolti dal quotidiano tra i cittadini in un "collection day" accanto a molte prime pagine che alternavano racconti luttuosi a storie di rinascita. Al termine della visita il governatore del Friuli Venezia Giulia, Massimiliano Fedriga, ha omaggiato il Capo dello Stato con la maglia speciale dell'Udinese con la frase diventata un'icona del modello di ricostruzione post-sismico: "Il Friuli ringrazia e non dimentica". Ad accogliere Mattarella e Meloni all'uscita dalla mostra, alla loggia del Consiglio comunale, oltre un centinaio di bambini con tricolore in mano hanno intonato l'Inno d'Italia soffermandosi a lungo a strappare selfie e autografi. L'Unità: Cospito, la tortura deve continuare: Nordio conferma il 41bis, “carcere duro” per altri due anni La decisione del ministro Carlo Nordio era più che scontata, in linea con il trattamento riservato al detenuto pericolo pubblico numero uno al quale di recente era stato negato l’acquisto di quattro libri e di un Cd. Nordio ha prorogato di altri due anni il regime del 41 bis per l’anarchico Alfredo Cospito confermando la scelta che nel 2022 aveva fatto la ministra Marta Cartabia che vantava una fama, forse immeritata, di garantista. La decisione di Nordio sarà impugnata con ricorso al Tribunale di Sorveglianza di Roma, unica autorità chiama a decidere sull’applicazione del regime di carcere duro in tutta Italia. Un ricorso che ha scarse possibilità (eufemismo) di successo considerando quanto accaduto in passato nonostante la direzione nazionale antimafia e antiterrorismo, non certo una congrega di anarchici, si fosse detta favorevole al regime di alta sicurezza meno afflittivo. Il Tribunale di Sorveglianza e la Cassazione non avevano voluto sentire ragioni. Cospito, detenuto nel carcere di Sassari Bancali, paga il lunghissimo sciopero della fame con il quale nel 2023 aveva protestato contro il 41 bis, non tanto per sé quanto per gli oltre 700 reclusi al quale viene applicato. Il lungo digiuno aveva riscosso non poche simpatie anche al di là dell’area anarchica e questo aveva messo in imbarazzo i poteri costituiti dalla politica alla magistratura. Insomma, era stato considerato una sorta di sciopero della fame “a scopo di terrorismo e di eversione dell’ordine costituzionale”. Per cui lo Stato in tutte le sue articolazioni aveva deciso che Cospito l’avrebbe pagata duramente fino in fondo. Siamo da tempo oltre lo spirito e la lettera del 41 bis varato solo per evitare contatti dei detenuti con le organizzazioni di appartenenza. Invece siamo arrivati a restrizioni e vessazioni assurde fino alla tortura. In pratica terrorismo di Stato. Cospito, torture must continue: Nordio confirms the 41-bis, “tough prison” for another two years. The Minister Carlo Nordio’s decision was more than predictable, in line with the treatment given to the prisoner considered number one danger, to whom the purchase of four books and a CD had recently been denied. Nordio extended the 41-bis regime for anarchist Alfredo Cospito by another two years, confirming the choice that Minister Marta Cartabia made in 2022, which boasted, perhaps undeservedly, a reputation as a guarantor. Nordio’s decision will be challenged through an appeal to the Court of Surveillance in Rome, the only authority tasked with deciding on the application of the harsh prison regime throughout Italy. An appeal that has scant chances of success (euphemism) considering what has happened in the past despite the national anti-mafia and anti-terrorism direction, not a congregation of anarchists, having expressed its favor for the less burdensome high-security regime. The Court of Surveillance and the Supreme Court did not want to hear arguments. Cospito, held in the Sassari Bancali prison, is paying for his lengthy hunger strike with which he protested against the 41-bis in 2023, not so much for himself as for the over 700 prisoners to whom it is applied. The long fast had garnered considerable sympathy even beyond the anarchist area and this had embarrassed the authorities by putting pressure on the judiciary. In short, it had been considered a sort of “hunger strike for the purpose of terrorism and the subversion of the constitutional order.” Therefore, the State in all its structures had decided that Cospito would pay the price fully and finally. We are long past the spirit and letter of the 41-bis, launched solely to avoid contact between prisoners and their affiliated organizations. Instead, we have arrived at absurd restrictions and abuses up to torture.
