Già alla stazione di Iseo la situazione era tesa: i ragazzi avevano intavolato una discussione – per futili motivi – che si è esasperata sempre di più fino a quando, all’interno di un vagone durante la marcia del treno, non è scoppiata la rissa. Il treno è stato fermato alla stazione di Borgonato-Adro dove sono stati fatti intervenire i carabinieri che hanno identificato gli otto ragazzi: due cittadini stranieri, un egiziano e un tunisino di 17 e 18 anni, e sei ragazzi residenti nella Bergamasca. Tre dei coinvolti hanno riportato lievi ferite e sono stati medicati sul posto dal personale del 118 e della Croce Rossa.
