Mixtape (Multi, XPd on PC) "On their last night of high school, three friends embark on one more adventure together. Play through a mixtape of memories, set to the soundtrack of a generation. Skate. Party. Avoid the law. Make out. Sneak out. Hang out." This is the 2nd game from Beethoven & Dinosaur, following the excellent The Artful Escape, so I had high hopes for it. These hopes were not dashed. As someone that also "came of age" in the 90s, this game absolutely nails the esthetic in every way possible. Assuming the role of Stacy Rockford, you and your 2 best pals are on a quest to have the best "last night before adulthood" ever. So this game is a mix of a lot of genres. You skate around town doing tricks. You "point and click" through memories in each kid's room. You search for clues to a fabled stash. You move a couch. Skip rocks at the pond hitting targets. To be fair, there is a not small amount of watching cinematics here because the story is central. Personally didn't bother me at all. I love the "claymation cross cel shaded"-ish graphic style. It takes a little getting used to as the slightly jerky movements make you wonder if your PC is acting up but after a bit I stopped noticing it. Everything is super colorful, quite pretty to look at. The soundtrack is dope asf, plain and simple. It's not restricted to just 90s stuff nor is it just "hits" but also more obscure stuff which is awesome as that's what I've been into since I was a kid. Coming in at 4hrs to roll credits, it's not a long experience which is fine since it's supposed to take course over an afternoon into evening. And it's not a pricey game, so IMO it costs exactly what it's worth. I only wish they sold the OST along with it, lol. (yeah I can just go get em myself but sometimes I'm lazy.) I very much enjoyed this game, and would highly recommend it. Don't skip out on this one, esp if you're like me, a 90s kid. #Mixtape #Gaming #ShareYourGames #Steam #PC #LinuxGaming https://mixtape.game/

High CPU usage in Windows 11 usually means a process is using more CPU cycles than it should. It could be due to excessive background apps, pending Windows updates, corrupted system files, or high-resource processes like antivirus scans and indexers. Fixes for High CPU Usage (Windows 11) Restart Your PC: This is the quickest way to clear stuck processes and memory. Use Task Manager: Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc, find processes with high CPU usage, right-click them, and select "End task". Disable Startup Apps: In Task Manager, go to the "Startup apps" tab, right-click unnecessary apps, and select "Disable". Update Windows & Drivers: Go to Settings > Windows Update to ensure you have the latest performance patches. Check Power Settings: Search for "Choose a power plan" in the Control Panel, and select "Balanced" or "High Performance". Scan for Malware: Run a full scan with Windows Defender, as viruses can cause high CPU usage. Disable SysMain (Superfetch): Search for "Services," find "SysMain," right-click to stop it, which can reduce background resource usage. Disable High Precision Event Timer: In Device Manager, find "High precision event timer" under System Devices, right-click, and disable it @followers #HighCPU #Windows11 #windows10 #technology #techtips #tech #howto #TechGuide #computer #pc #100cpu

Booting is the process of loading an operating system. It’s the process that starts when we turn on the computer (using the power button or by a software command) and ends when the operating system is loaded into the memory. #computer #Boot #PC #Tech #technology #TechGuide

Back around 1993, when I wanted to run #linux at home, I had to double the memory of my system from 4MB to 8MB. Yes, MEGABytes. 😇 It cost me 100UKP for the extra stick, so I could run Slackware 2 efficiently and work from home, to interface with the University Unix system. So, the price came down… over time… but today’s silly artificially inflated prices? No thanks. #ram #memory #pc #upgrades

🐧Steam Machine price speculation gathers steam / let's add a bit 🤫 ◉Apple's known for price gouging, yes. Even their Mac Mini is ~$500 is it not. ◉ RedDragon makes mini PC for $499 /w specs close to Steam Machine - does Valve have any big reason setting the price much more than $499? ◉ Steam's record revenue prolly helps Valve to lower the final price. Special deal with AMD. Priced as a PC is stated. Then again consoles aren't priced like game consoles no more. #SteamMachine #price #Valve #PC

Final frontier for Linux gaming's unseen levels? Kernel-level anticheat ❌ However; kernel-level ac isn't as crushingly common as painted out to be. ◉ ~10-15% of multiplayer games use kernel-level AC. ◉ All PC games lumped in (single-player) the usage is in the spheres of ~4%. Kernel-level ac: full control over the system / its information - ultimate rootkit. Another way is needed - be it Linux OR Windows. It is not worth the risk just to play a game? #anticheat #Linux #Windows #kernel #PC
