L'Unità: Caccia allo straniero a Roma, nel mirino branco neofascista: cinque aggressioni in una notte tra mazze e Mein Kampf La loro era una caccia allo straniero, tra letture del Mein Kampf hitleriano e ronde armate con uno sfollagente telescopico. Così la notte del 7 febbraio scorso tre giovanissimi, uno minorenne, avevano messo in atto cinque aggressioni a sfondo razziale a Roma. I tre sono stati perquisiti e denunciati dalla polizia e uno di loro, minorenne, è stato sottoposto alla misura cautelare del collocamento in comunità. I “raid” erano iniziati nella zona della stazione Termini, che la gang percorreva in auto con l’obiettivo di prendere di mira persone di nazionalità straniera senza fissa dimora, scelti in modo del tutto casuale: quattro aggressioni sono avvenute senza che nessuno intervenisse a difesa delle vittime, mentre l’ultima era stata interrotta per il sopraggiungere improvviso di alcune persone. A condurre le indagini gli investigatori della Digos della Questura di Roma, inchiesta avviata a seguito della denuncia sporta da un cittadino nigeriano presso il Compartimento di Polizia Ferroviaria capitolino. Le indagini hanno consentito di rinvenire, durante le perquisizioni, i capi d’abbigliamento utilizzati durante le aggressioni, una spranga, un coltello, materiale propagandistico inerente all’ideologia di estrema destra e anche una copia del Mein Kampf. tre ragazzi, due dei quali appartenenti alla compagine giovanile di un’organizzazione militante nell’estrema destra, sono stati denunciati in concorso tra loro, per il reato di lesioni personali aggravate dall’odio razziale, nonché per porto di armi e oggetti atti ad offendere. Nei confronti del giovane minorenne, già gravato da precedenti penali inerenti all’apologia del fascismo, nonché per aver imbrattato, il 7 giugno 2025, la Sinagoga di via Garfagnana con epiteti antisemiti ed il simbolo della svastica, è stata applicata la misura cautelare del collocamento in comunità. On the night of February 7th, three very young people, one a minor, had carried out five racially motivated attacks in Rome. The three were searched and reported to the police, and one of them, a minor, was placed under house arrest. The “raids” began in the Termini station area, which the gang traveled around in a car, targeting homeless people of foreign nationality, chosen completely randomly: four attacks occurred without anyone intervening to defend the victims, while the last one was interrupted due to the sudden arrival of some people. The investigations were conducted by the Digos investigators of the Rome Police Headquarters, launched following a complaint filed by a Nigerian citizen at the Capitol Railway Police Department. The investigations revealed, during the searches, the clothing used during the attacks, a stick, a knife, propaganda material related to the far-right ideology, and also a copy of Mein Kampf. Three young men, two of whom belonged to the youth organization of a militant group on the far right, were reported in conspiracy to each other for the crime of aggravated personal injury fueled by racial hatred, as well as for carrying weapons and offensive objects. Today in Labor History April 30 1945: Eva Braun and Adolph Hitler committed suicide, in Berlin, after being married for less than 40 hours. Many Nazis were tried, convicted and executed. And literally thousands were secreted into the U.S., given false identities, and put to work as spies, intelligence officers, informants, and rocket scientists in the Cold War. Some of them had even been high-ranking Nazi Party officials, secret police chiefs, and heads of concentration camps. In fact, during the first few years after WWII ended, it was easier to get into the U.S. as a Nazi than it was as a Jewish concentration camp survivor. IBM Watson was launched as a magical cure-all in 2013. By 2022 it had been pulled from everything because despite years of 'refining' and 'training,' following it would have killed over 50% of patients. At it's best.

Watched #JudgementAtNuremberg on #TCM yesterday afternoon. Had never seen the whole film from start to end. Many of the lines describing #Hitler, the #Nazis, and life under #NationalSocialism sounded contemporary. Great movie, very sobering in these times.
