L’iniziativa ha per il momento un forte focus sulle attività in Spagna con l’aumento della stabilimento di Saragozza (sito storico di produzione Opel) dove nascerà un nuovissimo SUV elettrico a batteria Opel del segmento C che sarà progettato e concepito a Rüsselsheim ma verrà aggiunto su una nuova linea insieme al modello C-SUV B10 di Leapmotor. Questo sviluppo consentirà al nuovo modello di beneficiare di componenti forniti da LPMI, aumentando l’accessibilità economica: il modello - grazie a un tempo di sviluppo inferiore a due anni, sfruttando la partnership con Leapmotor - dovrebbe essere in vendita già nel 2028..
