Love at first sight: The world created upholstered recliners for cats. No doubt about it. So much more efficient for clawing than a silly old scratching post. It has arms to perch on horizontally and dig in. It has a back and sides if you prefer to stretch vertically while scratching. And if you exhaust yourself during the pedicure, a comfy seat will do nicely to curl up on, to further groom.
