The parents are well educated and middle class anti vaxers.
Just imagine that, in 2026, in united States.
My mother would have been shocked if she was alive to hear that there are parents today, refusing to vaccinate their children against polio.

An article about Brian Deer’s investigation into Andrew Wakefield’s claim that the MMR vaccine caused autism. Included were his discoveries that Wakefield had not disclosed that:
- he was paid £435,000 from lawyers suing vaccine manufacturers
- he had patented plans for a rival vaccine (this vaccine never amounted to anything)
- he had recruited of children through litigation networks
- he had misrepresented clinical timelines in patient records
I do wonder how many tens of thousands of people Wakefield has killed.

At least 20 students at Ave Maria University in Florida now have confirmed measles infections.
Florida has the fourth most measles cases so far in 2026, with 21 confirmed. South Carolina has by far the most (540, 920 if you count those still sick from 2025), followed by Utah (48) and Arizona (34), with those three states experiencing ongoing outbreaks that began in 2025.
At least 19 people have been hospitalized in S. Carolina during the current outbreak, with an untold number of patients suffering from measles-related encephalitis
