The Westport Observatory, run by the volunteers of the Westport Astronomical Society brings the night sky down to the thousands who visit annually. We’re a non-profit that’s free and open to the public every Wednesday night from 8-10 pm if the skies are clear. We do suggest a donation of $5 per person if you're not a member. Artemis II Watch Party — TONIGHT at Westport Observatory! Clouds are socking in our Weekly Wednesday Star Party, but we're trading eyepieces for something better — a rocket headed to the Moon! Artemis II lifts off at 6:24 PM ET, the first crewed lunar mission since 1972. Classroom opens at 5:30 PM. See you there!
