.. but most are client-side. They can rerank your existing timeline, but can't make #recommendations from outside your follower bubble.

❌ No real improvement to content discovery across the #Fediverse.
❌ Interesting content from smaller accounts may never reach you.
They simply rearrange whats already in your reach. We need server-side #recommendations to actually distribute content effectively.

1️⃣ Sourcing: ~1000 Posts are fetched from various sources.
2️⃣ Ranking: Candidates are ranked by a machine learning model.
3️⃣ Sampling: Lastly, heuristics are applied to diversify #recommendations
