A follow-up on this.
It turns out it was nothing wrong with Bazzite or Nobara, but defect old RAM bricks.
After replacing them, the computer is rock solid...
Now, should I go back to #Bazzite or stay on #pop_os ?
I kinda like Pop!_OS, but I think it was less trouble with Bazzite and my dual screen setup that many of my games struggle with on Pop!_OS (I basically need to turn off the secondary screen every time I start a game to get the mose to work and get the correct resolution).
