I’m an elderly lefty, living in South West England who’s looking for a nice place in the fediverse where I can share/ learn/ politely disagree etc with others & (occasionally) vent my frustrations & concerns about the parlous state of the world that my grandkids are growing up in! When I’m not “doom scrolling” I enjoy gardening, bird watching, bread baking & being the best granddad I can be.

Dear Reform voters, I know we have different opinions, but let me reach out and say. Before you go vote today, remember Farage and Tice have stated on multiple occasions they want to disband and break up the NHS, there is a reason they have billionaires giving large sums of money - and that’s not including the 5 million to Nigel personally. You had 14 years of Tory shit and now reform are full of the same people. I know Labour and the rest are a fucking disaster and you want something different- but a new Tory party built for and owned by the rich isn’t different.
