The Westport Observatory, run by the volunteers of the Westport Astronomical Society brings the night sky down to the thousands who visit annually. We’re a non-profit that’s free and open to the public every Wednesday night from 8-10 pm if the skies are clear. We do suggest a donation of $5 per person if you're not a member. A total lunar eclipse is turning the Moon a stunning deep red tomorrow morning, with 58 minutes of totality. For those of us in Westport, CT and along the East Coast, the Moon rises already deep in totality... straight into clouds.
