I wasn’t feeling particularly inspired or well for last night’s #lifedrawing session, but I went anyway and joined 12 other #artists, pencils poised, ready to tackle the unclothed human form.
It’s not just the model who is exposed when life drawing. It literally exposes the naked truth about an artist’s abilities. There’s nowhere to hide!
The excruciating doubt I sometimes feel as an artist is lifted when I’m life drawing - I prove to myself that I can do it. And at times not too badly. Plus, it’s immense fun!

Pinterest added "AI-modified" tags to some of my artworks that were uploaded by other users. I am now taking these pins down, because this is false & misleading information.
You might want to check your artworks on Pinterest, too. The EU AI Act will be enforced on 02.08.2026 and documentation requirements for platforms with AI content will be stricter.

I wanna build an #ArtCollective - a space with all variety of printers, plotters, cutters, engravers, embossers, typesetters - screen printing, embroidery & sewing, painting and music rehearsal studios... all accessible to the #community through a sliding scale membership - or better - grants.
It would give #artists a place to pratice and create, as well as teach and pass on their skills through demonstrations, classes & workshops.
Get people off the streets and inside making #art and drinking #coffee and #learning in an open and awesome environment.
Once a month we could have a showcase night - like a #SlabCity open mic.
