@mattsheffield@mastodon.social I think that #tidal doesn't even care it distinguish. Based on the fact that they can't even distinguish between albums of the same named artists.

I'm going to give #Qobuz a try as an alternative to #Tidal so there's one less subscription going to a US company. The last.fm integration seems to be working and all my music seems to be there. Wish the app icon on iOS was a bit prettier since it's going on my task bar...

Somehow #Tidal has failed to inform me that the new #Avkrvst album came out June this year. Catching up now.

RE: https://mastodon.social/@jonhicks/115662466196992390 I know #Tidal isn't perfect (and buying physical media or band merch is better, but hey, that is situational, I will only buy an album after I already like it), but this sort of thing makes me feel vindicated in choosing not to use #Spotify.
