Luca è uno degli attivisti della Global Sumud Flotilla, che in collegamento telefonico dalla Grecia col presidio in corso davanti alla Farnesina assicura il ritorno della missione via mare verso Gaza. Una missione nata letteralmente sull'onda della provocazione e che nulla ha a che fare con la volontà diportare beni essenziali che sarebbero potuti arrivare, con più quantità e garanzia di successo, attraverso l'aiuto di Stati e attori terzi che avevano offerto il proprio sostegno. "Useremo questi giorni per sistemare tutto e per rimettere a posto le barche - ha aggiunto il ragazzo - la Flotilla riparte: abbiamo compagni dalla Grecia, dall'Italia, dalla Spagna, dall'Olanda e da tutta Europa che si sono mobilitati per venire qua". L'obiettivo principale, come dichiarato sul sito ufficiale della Sumud, è comunque quello primario di sfidare il blocco navale israeliano. Cercare l'incidente diplomatico, quindi, andando contro anche ai rispettivi Stati che avevano già notificato la propria contrarietà all'imbarcata via mare utile solo a ottenere quel poco di notorietà in più.
