So I am indeed watching 'Star Trek IV: The Undiscovered Country'.
The scene where the assassins board the diplomatic ship has stuck in my memory since I first saw this film.
It's shocking in that "What's going on?!?!" kind of way.

The very beginning of #TheFifthElement when they're showing the planet from space, there's a scraping sound. It really reminds me of the beginning of #StarTrek The Voyage Home when the space obelisk is sending out the signal looking for the whales. Anybody else notice the striking similarity? TBC, this is before we see the spaceship.
