Fern release v1.3.5 is out now, bringing a few stability and bug :blobcat_googly_bug: fixes since my last ping about v1.3.0:

  • desktop launchers (lmk if these dont work on your OS of choice)
  • emoji render bugfix
  • panics (at the disco) are handled gracefully
  • errors dumped to console upon crashes for easier bug reporting

Note: Snap releases will be delayed a bit while I try to figure out why repo changes are not getting picked up there. Brew and scoop users can update normally. #notetaking #tui #golang #pkm

Something I've been thinking about for a while: using AI well requires strong cognitive abilities — the very same abilities AI can undermine. A 5-part series exploring this tension starts tomorrow. First post: The AI Cognitive Ability Paradox, published at 5pm. At https://www.ctnet.co.uk/ #AI #PKM #KnowledgeManagement #CriticalThinking #ArtificialIntelligence
