Being a New Englander, I'm constantly impressed with how good a value Market Basket is. We spend so much less there on our weekly food bill than we would at Stop & Shop or Shaw's or even Walmart. Having said that, we're spending 10-15% more on average now than we were before the Iran debacle began, so prices are definitely increasing. At least their coffee bar is ridiculously cheap. Today I got a 32 oz iced latte for $3 and change. Take that, Starbucks! #groceries #newengland #marketbasket

These are the 'Witches’ Stairs' commonly found in old New England homes. It is believed that the design was thought to confuse or trap witches, preventing them from easily climbing the stairs due to the staggered pattern. @BiancoDavinci #witchcraft #globalmuseum #NewEngland #heritage
