Ok, I am now wondering who at the state level was compensated for approving Mission Hospital getting the extra beds 4 systems were applying for. HCA has been cited 4 times since they bought our non-profit hospital system for failing to keep patients safe, and THEY were awarded the 129 new beds? And this was in their CON: Increase capacity by 12% but staffing by less than 4%?
