There are always alternatives, not "there is no alternative". Married to a wonderful wife with with two adult sons, living in Calgary. I like getting out on my bike. I care about social justice. Unemployed or semi-retired? I would actually love to work (part time? consultation?) with purpose. Ph.D. in physics and nearly 28 year career in IT. "Debts that cannot be paid will not be paid." Watching the S3E2 of Loot (Maya Rudolph) on Apple TV and Maya's billionaire-philanthropist character Molly has bought a Superbowl commercial. She's promoting her charity, speaking to the audience with a Superbowl party going on in the background.
On the TV is a football game and it is the Argonauts vs the Allouettes. It caught my eye because of the large A logo, which I gather they haven't used since 2020 or so.
I'm guessing it was cheaper to license than an NFL game.
