My "almost a square meter of bobbin lace" is soon to reach its end. Just gonna finish this board and then I need to tie off the loose ends. And after that hand-sewing to a cloth I have already weaved of the same thread (16/4 linen). In March this beauty will go to my exhibition in the Finnish Craft Museum.
The pattern is from 18th century. The name is 'Cornucopia vine' (in Finnish Runsaudensarviköynnös), though that is given by some researcher. The original name is not known.
