So we got a sodastream a bit ago, and I noticed the bottles have an expiration date. Fine with that, because they're pressurized, and exploding plastic is no good. However, I did look into it more, and you're supposed to replace them after 5 (I think, could be 3) years or 3,000 liters. Who's tracking how many liters of soda they've made in the bottle? Especially since the bottles aren't one liter?? They're 29 ounces (858ml)??? And like. This isn't an issue of the metric conversion just being weird, they sell 500ml bottles, and it's not like 29floz converts to anything specific. It's 3+5/8 cups, so not quite a quart. Either way, if anyone does want to track their sodastream bottle usage to the liter, and they have these specifically weirdly measured bottles (they're the default bottles) it's 3,496 bottles if we include the syrup, 3,571 if we don't. #Knowledge

LinkedIn Is Quietly Scanning Your Browser Every Time You Visit

Research published on browsergate.eu reports that LinkedIn silently scans visitors’ Chromium-based browsers for over 6,000 installed extensions, revealing indicators of sensitive personal data like religion, health, politics, and job-search activity. The platform can easily link findings to identified user profiles, which raises serious GDPR, ePrivacy, and general privacy and legal concerns.

Switch to Firefox for LinkedIn, or use a separate Chrome profile with no extensions installed when visiting the site.
