Neurodivergent, transbian, polyam 30 something poetry mousegirl pronouns are she/her AuDHD anxiety depression I post a lot of random thoughts, words of kindness, some poetry, and a lot of reactions to or thoughts on whatever show I'm watching. Also selfies. Lots of selfies. Cos I'm cute! I'm gay. That comes up a lot. @mtxyz@solarpunk.moe is mine and I'm keeping her forever. @Bwee@meow.social is the rainbow in my sky. I'm plural, and my wife/headmate Arial posts here sometimes too. She identifies herself when she does. Despite updating my part of the profile as needed, she refuses to write anything about herself.

A small smile

it means everything
Just a small smile
There's no way to tell
who needs a smile
so why not give them
to everyone?

Two actions today.
1 A tradie came round to fix some leaks. I offered him a tea or coffee, and I've never received so much thanks for such a simple thing
2 A man dropped some shopping near me so I and another lady helped him pick it up. He was visibly choked by this small act and I asked if he was ok, and he mumbled that he was and we went our separate ways.
It strikes me that simple acts of kindness, community building camaraderie, treating people with respect and compassion, are anathema to some, if not many, people. Certainly the reactions I got today were over the top for things I consider to be basic courtesy type actions.
