I love #hiking and especially multi day hikes. Sometimes with my youngest son, sometimes alone. Sadly work and family commitments mean I can't go out hiking as much as I'd like. Other interests include #travelling, #reading, #crocheting, watching #Kdramas and learning Korean.

I feel like I've been away forever! I had a great time walking in the Netherlands. The weather was beautiful, the area really quiet and lovely and the people friendly. It was a good time to try out my new backpack and hiking alone for 5 days was really not all that difficult. I'm glad I tried out solo hiking, would definitely do it again. It was an amazing way to clear my head and destress. Just sitting between the dykes and the sea listening to many birds breeding there was heaven. I could have done that for hours.

Today's weather was really nice and the #assenliggers went for a bike ride as we do on Sundays. @twilwel@mastodon.nl, @TheoZw@mastodon.nl and Gert provided the excellent company today.
My personal target for today was to reach a total of 0.08 Gm on the bike computer in my Mango velomobile, which was reached a few km before I got home. 84 km in total. Not the longest ride we've ever done, but certainly one of the sunniest.
