@virtuous_sloth@cosocial.ca Why not allow #elevators certified under either system? As presented in the video, the certification systems are essentially equivalent, and the objective then should be to provide the most competition.
The question of elevator size seems like more of a trade-off issue; it's useful to accommodate stretchers and to allow wheelchairs to turn around, but when is the added cost worthwhile?

There are always alternatives, not "there is no alternative". Married to a wonderful wife with with two adult sons, living in Calgary. I like getting out on my bike. I care about social justice.
