The sad part is the amount of trash on the riverside and in the forest, most visible this time of the year due to lack of foliage and undergrowth.
Including this truck tire made in the Soviet Union! It might be over 40 years old, has likely spent the last few decades here.

Danube in winter. Best season to enjoy tranquility. No motorboats, not jet-skis, no cruise ships, almost no people around. I can hear the flapping of the wings of the cormorants on the other side of the river on a wind-free day like this.
