Nessuna apparizione del pilota Maverick, nonostante nel pomeriggio un post dell’attore su Instagram avesse fatto sperare i fan: “Non vedo l’ora di festeggiare con tutti voi i 40 anni di Top Gun. Sarà divertente riguardarlo sul grande schermo”. A introdurre l’evento sono stati Frédéric Moget, direttore generale di Paramount Pictures Francia, e Charles H. Rivkin, ceo della Motion Picture Association.
